A JAPANESE national on Thursday allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at a firing range in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that the victim was identified as “Sato,” 41, a Japanese national with no known address.
Two range officers told police that based on the CCTV footage, the foreigner shot himself using a cal. .45 Armscor pistol which he had rented at the firing range.
The Japanese sustained a gunshot wound to his right temple, with the bullet exiting through the back of his head.
An investigation is ongoing.
