THREE persons, including a woman, on Friday were killed in an ambush by sports utility vehicle (SUV)-riding armed men in Bgy. Capihan, San Rafael, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fernando, the Bulacan police identified the victims as Bryan, 33, of San Ildefonso, Bulacan; his girlfriend, and a certain Jayvee.
Prior to the gun attack, the victims were in a Ford Everest and being chased by another black SUV.
The passengers in a black SUV then fired shots at the vehicle of the victims using an automatic rifle before fleeing.
Bryan, who was driving the vehicle, and Jayvee, who was seated in the front passenger seat, were hit by the bullets, killing them on the spot.
Bryan’s girlfriend died while being treated in a hospital.
Responding lawmen found at the crime scene 25 spent fired cartridges.
The Bulacan police immediately sent a flash alarm to other police units for possible identification and arrest of the gunmen.
