MABALACAT, Pampanga — Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque recently conducted a visit at the Mabalacat Public Market to assess the prices and availability of essential goods.
Roque was accompanied by Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo in inspecting the market stalls and talking with vendors to verify adherence to pricing regulations on basic necessities and prime commodities.
They conducted an inspection of a nearby Puregold branch to further assess price compliance in retail establishments.
In collaboration with the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) and the local government, authorities ensured compliance with the suggested retail prices (SRP) and monitored the stability of supply.
