OPERATIVES of the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) on Thursday arrested a dentist in a drug buy-bust operation in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
Nabbed was Reynard Pasaoa, 40.
PDEG director Col. Dionisio B. Bartolome Jr. said Pasaoa has been tagged as a “high-value target.”
Members of the PDEG, in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Unit 1 and the PNP Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group, arrested the suspect in a sting in Bgy. Bonuan Binloc in Dagupan City around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The arrested suspect yielded a small heat-sealed plastic sachet containing a gram of shabu worth P6,800, the buy-bust money topped by a marked P1,000 bill, and a mobile phone he used in making contact with the poseur.
Bartolome said Pasaoa will be facing a non-bailable case for sale and possession of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
