CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — More than 4,000 runners on Sunday took part in the “Run for 3Ps” organized by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), in partnership with Run Mania Philippines, held at Megaworld Capital Town, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. led participants which included PRO3 personnel, police recruits, civilians, and representatives from various partner agencies who competed in the 5K, 10K, and 21K race categories.
The event transformed the city into a vibrant hub of fitness, camaraderie, and community engagement.
Peñones said the impressive turnout underscored the shared commitment to the organization’s core principles.
“The Run for 3Ps is more than a race—it is a celebration of unity and wellness. When police officers, partner agencies, and civilians run side by side, we strengthen trust and demonstrate that public safety is a shared responsibility,” the Central Luzon top cop said.
He added that initiatives like the “Run for 3Ps” support PRO3’s strategic thrusts—Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism—while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among both police personnel and the wider community.
The official said the successful conduct of the “Run for 3Ps” highlights PRO3’s continued efforts to engage the public beyond law enforcement, fostering partnerships that contribute to safer, healthier, and more resilient communities across Central Luzon.
