OPERATIVES of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested a village chief listed as no. 2 most wanted person in the province of Pampanga.
CIDG Regional Field Unit 3 chief Col. Grant Gollod said suspect alias “Alfie,” a barangay captain, was nabbed at his residence in Mexico, Pampanga.
The arrest was made by members of the CIDG Pampanga Provincial Field Unit and the Mexico police.
The barangay captain has a standing warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in San Fernando City, Pampanga for statutory rape.
No bail was recommended.
