A PRISONER who complained of chest pains and difficulty in breathing on Wednesday escaped from his police escorts while being taken to a hospital in Teresa, Rizal.
Inmate Ryan Lozano, 23, took advantage of the opportunity to flee from his police escorts while being transported to the Rizal Provincial Hospital Morong around 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
Based on a report submitted to Police Regional Office 4A Director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, the suspect asked for medical help after allegedly experiencing chest pains and difficulty in breathing.
Officers rushed Lozano to the hospital but upon reaching Corazon C. Aquino Ave. in Bgy. Prinza, Teresa, Rizal, the suspect immediately jumped off the police service and fled on foot.
Records showed Lozano was arrested last October for drug charges.
Police are tracking down the suspect.
