MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – A “high-value” drug target included in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional target list and three of his cohorts on Thursday yielded some P241,500 worth of shabu in an entrapment in Bgy. Dau, this city.
Nabbed were Edsel Carlos, a 51-year-old “high-value target,” and three other suspects Maria Hilda Permits, 42; Nelson del Rosario, 42; and Joshua Policarpio, 27.
According to PDEA Region 3, the high-impact operation was a product of a month long casing and surveillance.
Authorities seized during the raid a total of 13 plastic sachets containing more or less 35 grams of shabu worth P241,500, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The operation was conducted by the PDEA Aurora Provincial Office, PDEA Pampanga PO and PDEA-3 RSET.
All suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
