ANTI-NARCOTICS operatives on Friday arrested four suspects and seized some P1.3-million worth of shabu in a sting in Bgy. Mabatang, Abucay, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Abucay police identified the suspects as Noel Canare alias “Oxy,”58, of Santiago St., Atlan III, Bgy. Mabatang, Abucay, Bataan; Raymond Macaspac, 35, of Purok 5, Bgy. Sta. Isabel, Dinalupihan, Bataan; Angelita Garcia, 32, of Purok 5, Brgy. Sta. Isabel, Dinalupihan, Bataan; and Derick Rico, 26, of Canare St., Bo. Isa, Bgy. Mabatang, Abucay, Bataan.
A cohort of the suspects named Alain Kapampangan, of Bgy. Omboy, Abucay, eluded arrest.
Confiscated from the four were seven plastic sachets containing shabu worth P1,376,320, the marked money, some drug paraphernalia, a digital weighing scale, and P8,000 cash.
The entrapment operation was conducted by operatives of the Abucay police headed by Maj. Jonathan Mostoles, together with the Bataan Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Appropriate charges are being readied for filing in court against the suspects before the Bataan Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.
