AT LEAST 123 trafficking-in-persons were rescued by the Philippine Navy and confiscated high-powered firearms and shabu in a raid in Tubalubac Island, Barangay Aluh Bunah, Pangutaran, Sulu.
In a report submitted to the office of Navy Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr., the raid launched by members of the Naval Task Force-61 under the supervision of Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM).

The suspected recruiters and handlers escaped along with “Jammang” and 15 cohorts armed with high-powered firearms.
Authorities are now hunting down the suspects.
