OIL firms are set to implement a big-time price hike this week.
Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Seaoil Philippines Corp., Shell Pilipinas Corp. and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. on Monday announced that they will increase prices per liter of gasoline by P2.65, diesel by P2.70, and kerosene by P2.60.
Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, and PTT Philippines Corp. will impose the same changes.
The price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, October 15.
Last week, oil companies raised the cost of diesel by P1.20 per liter and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
