THE Isabela Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said the lone passenger of the Piper plane that crashed in Isabela on November 30 was found dead Sunday, December 10, 2023.
According to Isabela PDRRMO head Constante Foronda, the body of the victim was found near the wreckage area.
Foronda said Ka-9 tracker teams found the body of a woman about 200 meters down the mountain slope.
The victim’s remains are currently being brought to an area where it could be recovered by a Philippine Air Force helicopter.
On December 7, the pilot of the ill-fated Piper plane was found dead at the crash site in San Mariano, Isabela.
The Piper plane with a tail number PA-32-300 went missing on November 30 after taking off at Cauayan Airport in Isabela.
