PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday sworn in businessman Eduardo Aliño as administrator of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).
Aliño replaced Jonathan Tan who took his oath as Undersecretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) on the same day.
Aliño is the chairman of the Subic Bay Yacht Club, as well as president and chairman of the S.T.A.R. Group of Companies. He is also the president and chairman of Subic Bay Freeport Grain Terminal Services, Inc. and Mega Equipment International Corp..
Tan is the former mayor of Pandacan, Antique and a businessman owning JDT Construction and Supply and president of JDT Trading.
