A DEAD man on Wednesday was found inside a van on Fil-Am Friendship Highway in Bgy. Pampanga, Angeles City.
The victim was identified as Javo Yatar, 37, of 24 Queens St., Queens Row Central, Bacoor, Cavite.
Angeles City Police director Col. Amado Mendoza said an initial investigation showed that Rolando Pasamonte, a 50-year-old maintenance worker of the Department of Public Works and Highways was sweeping the road when he noticed a Mitsubishi L-300 with Lalamove markings and license plate UWJ 535 parked on the highway.
Pasamonte peeked from the window and saw an unconscious man, prompting him to inform the police.
Responding lawmen found no injuries on the body of the victim and his valuables are intact.
Authorities are investigating what caused the death of Yatar.
