JOINT operatives on Sunday arrested three members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) while P340,000 worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Anupul, Bamban Tarlac.
Nabbed were Cpl. Venancio Delmoral alias “Juan,” 44; Cpl. Juan Carlo Feliciano, 30; and Sgt. Modesto Rosquero, 29, said the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Tarlac.
According to the PDEA, the trio are considered “high-value targets” because they are in active status.
Seized from the suspects were one knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing around 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000, an AFP-issued gun loaded with magazine with four live bullets, a Sedan Suzuki Dzire, and the marked buy-bust money.
The anti-illegal drugs operation was conducted by joint operatives of the PDEA Tarlac and the local police.
Charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26-B (conspiracy to sell) of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
