THE Office of the City Veterinarian headed by Dra. Gloria Digma conducted a three-day anti-rabies vaccination in Bgy. Buenavista II, General Trias City, Cavite on February 23, 28, and 29.
Agricultural technologist Gaylord Aguilar said the anti-rabies drive is an annual vaccination program of the city government of General Trias headed by Mayor Jon-Jon Ferrer to prevent rabies on dogs and cats and ensure public safety.
A total of 953 pets (693 dogs and 270 cats) were given anti-rabies shot.
Aguilar, city staff vet member Mary Louryse Trinidad and volunteer graduating students from the Cavite State University assisted in the anti-rabies campaign.
