CLARK FREEPORT – The daughter of Caloocan Congressman Oscar Malapitan, Sharon Faye Malapitan-Bautista, is the new member of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Board of Directors.
Bautista officially assumed her position on Friday following a ceremonial oath-taking administered by CDC chairman Atty. Edgardo Pamintuan.
She brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished track record of public service and leadership to her new position.
Bautista is the founding president of Tao Ang Una, a prominent political party in Caloocan City since 2015 and has served as chief financial officer of Printek Printworks Corporation since 2012.
Prior to her appointment, Bautista held several key roles, including chairman of Bgy. 137 in Caloocan City from 2003 to 2013 and District Office manager for her father Rep. Oscar G. Malapitan from 2007 to 2010.
As chief executive of the barangay, she strived to serve as an ideal public servant with utmost dedication to duty and good governance.
She paid special attention to the sentiments of the people, down to the grassroots level.
She also served as legislative officer IV in the Office of Sen. Manuel Villar from 2006 to 2007 and gained valuable experience as a field sales officer at Asia United Bank in Caloocan City from 2003 to 2006.
Bautista earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from St. Paul College, Quezon City.
Bautista expressed gratitude for the CDC leadership’s warm welcome, adding that she is looking forward to leveraging her diverse background and skills.
Her enthusiasm and commitment to excellence promise to bring fresh perspectives to the CDC, infusing the organization with renewed energy and innovation.
