A HUMAN body without head, arms and legs on Monday night was found dumped in a canal in Bgy. Kaong, Silang, Cavite.
Police Captain Connie Susmerano of the Silang PNP said around 6:40 p.m. on Monday, they received a phone call from a concerned citizen about the discovery of a human torso in an open canal in the west bound area of the Cavite Laguna Expressway (CALAX).
The human torso, with tattoo on the left chest bearing the name “Hasmin,” was wrapped in a black garbage bag.
According to officer-on-case Cpl. Jayson Santos, the body part could be that of a man.
Police theorized the human torso was dumped in the place to mislead probers.
An investigation is ongoing.
