A WOMAN riding a motorcycle on Tuesday was shot in the head by two men on another motorbike in Nueva Ecija.
Slain was Arlyn Silva, a 48-year-old widow, of Purok 4, Bgy. Luyos, San Antonio, Nueva Ecija.
In report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the victim was driving her motorcycle when upon reaching Purok 5, Bgy. Luyos, the two suspects wearing green jackets without helmets on a blue plateless motorcyle suddenly appeared and fired shots at Silva.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds in the head and was rushed to the San Antonio District Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
Authorities immediately put up “Oplan Bakod” and are reviewing the CCTV footages in nearby establishments to identify and arrest the suspects.
