A WARRANT of arrest on Wednesday was issued by the Davao Regional Trial Court against Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality chairman Senator Risa Hontiveros made the confirmation Wednesday.
Also ordered arrested were Jackielyn Roy, Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada and Sylvia Cemañes.
Stated in the warrant were charges of sexual abuse and child abuse under Section 5 (b) and Section 10 (a) of the Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law.
Cresente Canada was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation while Paulene Canada and Sylvia Cemañes gave themselves up to the NBI Wednesday afternoon.
The three posted bail of P80,000 each.
Jackielyn Roy, and Ingrid Canada remained at large.
Last month, the Senate also issued a warrant of arrest against Quiboloy for non-appearance in the investigation into the alleged human rights abuses.
