CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police arrested eight drug suspects and seized more than P1.7-million worth of shabu in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in Pampanga on May 1 and 2.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City Police Director Col. Amado Mendoza launched anti-illegal drug operations in Bgy. Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City resulting in the arrest of alias “Gio” and alias “RJ.”
Confiscated were 70 grams of suspected shabu worth P476,000, a cal..38 revolver loaded with two live bullets, the marked money, seven fake P1,000 bills, and a motorcycle.
The Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) and the Police Station 3 nabbed alias “Ate” in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Cutud.
“Ate” yielded 55 grams of shabu worth P374,000.
In Mabalacat City, operatives launched a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Poblacion, which led to the arrest of alias “Bong,” alias “Nog,” and alias “Meinando.”
Seized from the suspects were eight transparent plastic sachets of shabu worth P380,800.
An operation in Bgy. Dela Paz Sur, City of San Fernando on May 1 resulted in the capture of alias “Jonel” and alias “Jerome” and the confiscation of 70 grams of shabu worth P476,000.
All suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“I commend our men for a job well done. This underscores our unwavering commitment to combatting illegal drugs, in alignment with the BIDA program of the DILG and the directives of PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil,” Hidalgo said.
