CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police on Saturday arrested two drug suspects and seized more than P2-million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Calaylayan, Abucay, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Abucay police, together with the Bataan Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, arrested suspects alias “Eba” and alias “Fred.”
The two yielded at least 300 grams of shabu worth P2,040,000.
The arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“The huge amount of illegal drugs confiscated shows the unwavering commitment of the Bataan police to combat illegal drug activities,” said Hidalgo, as he lauded the operating teams.
The Central Luzon top cop urged the public to stay vigilant and promptly report any suspicious drug-related activities to the authorities.
