ANTI-NARCOTICS operatives on Thursday arrested a man and seized some P34 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City police commander Col. Amado Mendoza identified the arrested suspect as Alinor Ombawa, 31, of Bgy. 648 Carlos Palanca, Quiapo, Manila.
Members of the PDEA RO-NCR RSET 1, PDEA RO NCR RSET 2, PDEA RO 3, Angeles City PNP and the Pampanga police launched the entrapment beside the Toyota Angeles parking lot at Purok 2 in Bgy. Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
Confiscated from the suspect were one big transparent plastic bag with label “Cai Yun Li” and containing some 1,000 grams of shabu, four plastic bags labeled “Cai Yun Li” containing some 4,000 grams of shabu with a total amount of P34-million; the buy-bust money, and a cellphone.
The Toyota White Xpander with plate number NFU 8580 driven by the suspect was also impounded by the authorities.
The arrested suspect will be charged with violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
