A KOREAN national was hauled to jail for allegedly stealing the cash and valuables of a fellow Korean in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr., the victim was identified as Hyeokgyun Jin , a 28-year-old Korean national residing in Jose Abad Santos, Clark, Angeles City.
Initial probe showed that suspect, Hyeong Jeong Jin, 31, a personal assistant and a resident of Savannah Green Plains Subdivision, Bgy. Cuayan, took the bag of the victim while they were at Hanin Town in Bgy. Pampang.
The bag contains various documents, valuables and at least P200,000 cash.
However, Kim Ji Hoon, 31, a Korean residing in Posco, Clark Mabalacat City, Pampanga, witnessed the incident.
Joseph Saru, 39, a Filipino family driver and resident of Purok 7, Bical, Mabalacat, Pampanga, was able to catch the suspect at his residence and recovered the bag with the P50,000 cash.
