FOUR men armed with guns hijacked an oil tanker and shot dead the driver and his helper in Rosario, La Union.
Police said the victims, who were left on the roadside, were shot several times.
An investigation showed the suspects posing as uniformed personnel intercepted the oil tanker.
The armed men forced the victims out of the truck and shot the two repeatedly before fleeing with the oil tanker.
The oil tanker was recovered in Aguilar, Pangasinan.
One of the suspects was arrested in a follow-up operation in Sual, Pangasinan.
