A 10-YEAR-OLD boy on Wednesday died after he was trapped inside their burning house in Paco, Manila.
The remains of the boy was found on the second floor of the house on Mercedes St. corner Perdigon St., Bgy. 681, Paco.
Investigation showed the fire started on one of the houses in Mercedes St..
The fire reached second alarm.
A housekeeper told probers that the victim was trapped in the bedroom on the second floor of the house.
She said her employer told her to get the child but she was prevented by the thick smoke and the raging blaze.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday,
Around P70,000 worth of property was damaged in the fire that destroyed at least three houses.
A follow-up investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
