POLICE on Monday arrested three men in a buy-bust operation in Plaridel, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Bulacan police identified the suspects as Gerry Belmonte alias “Andy,” 43, of Purok 5 Bgy. Parulan, Plaridel; Rolando Angeles, 50, of Bgy. San Juan, San Miguel, Bulacan; and Jeric Castillo alias “Empoy,” 34, a construction worker residing in Bgy. Banga 1st, Plaridel.
Operatives of the Plaridel Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the buy-bust in Bgy. Parulan resulting in the arrest of the three suspects who yielded around 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000.
The arrested suspects were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
