A 57-YEAR-OLD housewife on Saturday was shot dead while washing clothes on the terrace of her house in San Pablo City, Laguna.
San Pablo City police chief Lt. Col. Wilhemino Saldivar Jr. identified the victim only as Zoila, a resident of Sta. Barbara St., Amante Subd., Bgy. Del Remedio, San Pablo City.
Zoila succumbed to four bullet wounds.
She was washing clothes when the suspect, who was wearing a black jacket, jeans, and a black helmet, arrived on a motorcycle at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
After seeing the victim on the terrace, the suspect shot her repeatedly then fled.
Family members rushed Zoila to Community General Hospital, where Dr. Ma, Cecilla Navata declared her dead upon arrival.
Initial probe showed an unpaid debt could be the motive for the killing.
An investigation is ongoing.
