ACTION MAN. Barangay chairman Mario Amante (right) of Bgy. Pasong Kawayan II, General Trias City, Cavite personally leads the filling of water into the containers of residents of Belmont Hills Subdivision in Bgy. PK II who experienced loss of water supply due to busted water pump and motor following the devastation brought by severe typhoon “Kristine.” Amante immediately sent fire trucks to the affected communities after learning from social media and homeowners association officers that the residents had no supply of water since Thursday night. The residents thanked their village chief for the prompt response. Amante said the water distribution was conducted in coordination with the office of Mayor Luis “JonJon” Ferrer IV and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen.
