A 24-YEAR-OLD man on Sunday was killed while a 16-year-old girl was injured in a gun attack by riding-in-tandem gunmen in Tarlac.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, the Capas police identified the fatality as John Henry Duenas, 24; and the injured was a 16-year-old girl, both residents of Bgy. Dolores, Capas, Tarlac.
The victims, along with others, were passengers of a black Toyota Fortuner with plate number RLW959.
Upon reaching their residence in Bgy. Dolores, two unidentified suspects on a motorcycle suddenly appeared and fired several shots at the vehicle then fled.
The two victims sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to the Capas Medical Center, where John Henry was declared dead upon arrival.
The other passengers of the vehicle were unharmed.
Police are now reviewing the CCTV footages in the area to identify the gunmen.
