OPERATIVES on Saturday arrested a member of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in a gunrunning entrapment operation in Baliuag, Bulacan.
The Bulacan Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Baliuag police identified the arrested suspect as Jaycee Cruz, 43, of Bgy. Tangos in Baliuag.
The joint operating units conducted the buy-bust operation on Pinagsikapan St., Bgy. Tarcan in Baliuag.
Seized from the suspect were one cal. .38 revolver snub nose, one Uzi submachine gun, one submachine gun long magazine, 27 pieces of live bullets for a cal. .380 gun, one black holster, and the marked and boodle money.
Authorities said the suspect is allegedly involved in selling several unlicensed firearms in Bulacan and its nearby provinces.
Cruz was charged with violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
