GOOD news for senior citizens of Calamba, Laguna.
Starting January 8, 2025 elders in the city can now watch movies for free at SM Cinema Calamba.
Seniors are only required to present at the SM cinema ticket booth their valid senior citizen ID and movie pass booklet issued by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Calamba to avail of the free movie.
A senior citizen can watch films twice a month from Monday to Friday and limited only to 2D movie screenings.
The program was launched by the local government unit in coordination with SM City Calamba.
The LGU also announced that soon, the seniors in Calamba will receive their social pension.
