LOVERS set to get married this year died in a road accident in San Emilio, Ilocos Sur.
Police identified the victims as Ibrahim Cardenas and Fatima Claire Pis-oy. They succumbed to multiple head and body injuries.
The couple were traveling on a dump truck on a national road in Bgy. Paltoc, San Emilio, Ilocos Sur when Ibrahim lost control of the steering wheel while traversing the uphill part of the road.
The vehicle swerved until it fell to its side.
Witnesses rushed the couple to the hospital but to no avail.
