A 77-YEAR-OLD woman on Thursday died in a fire that razed a residential area in Muntinlupa.
The Muntinlupa City Fire Station said the victim was a person with disability.
She was trapped inside their burning house at Marquez Compound in Putatan Itaas, Summitville in Bgy. Putatan.
Four others were reported injured.
The fire started at about 10:20 a.m. on Thursday and quickly spread to the adjacent houses.
Firefighters put out the blaze at 11:09 a.m. of the same day.
The blaze destroyed around 15 houses and left about 15 families homeless.
An investigation is ongoing on what started the fire.
