A CHINESE woman and her 11-year-old son abducted in a posh subdivision in Alabang. Muntinlupa in 2023 on Friday were found buried in Bgy. San Francisco in General Trias City, Cavite.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 4A director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas by the General Trias City police identified the victims as Rong Rong Hong and her son Zineng Zheng.
The remains of the victims were exhumed by joint members of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group and the General Trias City police at the Savannah Fields in Bgy. San Francisco at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The mother and his son were among the six Chinese nationals and three Filipinos kidnapped by armed men in a Ayala Alabang , Muntinlupa on October 30, 2023.
Two of the four Chinese were found dead on Marilaque Highway in Tanay, Rizal on November 1, while the two others in Infanta, Quezon on November 6 of the same year.
The Filipinos – a couple who served as a stay-in house helper and driver, and their son — were released in Calauan, Laguna several hours after the kidnapping.
Authorities are conducting a post-mortem examination and autopsy on the remains of the mother and her son to determine the cause of their death.
