CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Police on Friday arrested an 18-year-old man following the confiscation from him of at least 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000 in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Dolores, Mabalacat City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal said members of the Mabalacat City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the entrapment.
Seized from the young suspect was an estimated P680,000 worth of illegal drugs.
The teenager is now in the custody of the police facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“The Pampanga police stand as an unyielding force against the scourge of illegal drugs. Let this be a message to those who seek to poison our communities—there is no refuge for you here. We will pursue, dismantle, and bring to justice all who threaten the peace and future of our people,” Dimaandal said.
“Our fight is relentless, and we shall not rest until every street is safe, and every home is free from the grip of this menace,” he added.
