MABALACAT CITY – Two hundred students of the Mabalacat Community High School (MCHS) in this city recently received school supplies from the City Youth Development Office (CYDO) that they may use to support their academic journey.
The giving out of school supplies, which was led by ICO Jaira Lomahan, is part of the city government’s continuous efforts to prioritize education and youth welfare.

Mayor Crisostomo “Cris” Garbo, who graced the event, delivered an inspiring message to the students.
The mayor reiterated his unwavering commitment to education and the students’ well-being.
Meanwhile, Miss Mabalacat 2025 candidates also offered motivational insights and advice.
After the distribution of school supplies, a symposium was held featuring expert speakers who tackled vital topics affecting today’s youth.
Among the issues discussed were the Anti-Drug Awareness, Self-Worth Beyond Social Media, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Education.
The discussions aimed to equip students with knowledge and awareness for making informed life choices.
MCHS school principal Chevy Tanglao expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the program’s success.
She also thanked SK federation president Paul Andre Tiongco for his active involvement, as well as the MCHS faculty and staff for their support in organizing the event.
