POLICE are investigating the identity of a burnt human body found on Saturday in Bgy. Pampang, Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. said the body was found by one of the residents of Riverside in Purok 6B, Bgy. Pampanga.
The witness informed the police about the gruesome find.
Personnel of the Angeles City police immediately proceeded to the area to conduct an investigation.
Villarosa said the body could no longer be recognized if a man or woman as it sustained severe burns.
He added that the body is already in an advanced stage of decomposition.
