FOUR members of a family early this morning (March 13, 2025) died in a fire that razed their house in Bgy. Longos, Malabon City.
Among the fatalities were a woman, her 9-year-old daughter, and two siblings. One of the victims was a person with disability.
All four were trapped inside their burning house.
Investigation showed the fire started around 3:45 a.m. and reached the first alarm around 3:52 a.m..
The blaze immediately spread to the nearby houses made-up of light materials.
Responding firemen declared a fire out around 6:52 a.m..
Around 41 people or 11 families that were affected by the fire are now temporarily seeking shelter at the barangay hall.
Investigation is ongoing on what started the fire.
