POLICE on Wednesday arrested two suspects in the killing of three members of a family in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, arrested were brothers alias “Mar,” 38, a wildduck raiser; and alias “Fer,” a farmer, both residents of Bgy. Mallorca, San Leonardo.
Seized from one of the suspects were a loaded cal. .45 pistol, and a hand grenade.
The two suspects are now under the custody of the San Leonardo police.
The two suspects were accused of involvement in the killing of Aurora, 52; her husband Don Rey, 55; and their 10-year-old son, all residents of Bgy. Mallorca, San Leonardo.
The victims were inside their store when the suspects riding a motorcycle arrived and pretended as customers.
The suspects then fired shots at the victims, killing them on the spot.
Police said the suspects could have committed the crime because of their unpaid debts to the victims.
