PAMPANGA POLICE’ WEEK-LONG OPERATIONS SEND TO JAIL 71 LAW BREAKERS

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga –  A week-long intensified operations launched by the Pampanga police led by Col. Jay Dimaandal from March 24 to March 30 resulted in the  arrest of 71 persons.

Among those arrested were 10 most wanted persons and 23 other wanted persons.

Dimaandal said that in the ongoing battle against illegal drugs,  his men confiscated 56.83 grams of shabu worth at least P386,444 and arrested 30 individuals.

In efforts to combat loose firearms, five were caught during six operations, which also resulted in the seizure of six firearms.

The campaign against illegal gambling led to the arrest of three persons in a single operation.

Dimaandal highlighted the crucial role each officer played in the success of the operations, emphasizing that their collective efforts reflect the deep sense of responsibility they hold toward the communities they serve. 

Meanwhile, Police Regional Office (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo commended the efforts of the Pampanga Police, saying: “The success of these operations is a testament to the hardwork and dedication of our police officers. We remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of our communities and upholding the integrity of the electoral process.”

Dimaandal reiterated the Pampanga police’s steadfast determination to continue safeguarding public safety and security, assuring the people of Pampanga that the integrity of the electoral process and force remains resolute in its mission to combat crime, protect citizens, and maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
