CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The second-in-command of the Police Regional Office 3 Jeffrey Zafe Decena has been promoted to Police Brigadier General, marking another significant milestone to his distinguished career in law enforcement.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rommel Marbil conferred the rank of Police Brigadier General on Decena.
Present in the occasion was Decena’s wife, Jennifer.
Decena, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) “Kaagapay” Class of 1996, has built a solid reputation for professionalism, competence, and dedication to public safety.
His extensive service record includes key assignments in the Eastern Police District (EPD), the Manila Police District (MPD), the National Capital Region Police Office’ Regional Headquarters Support Unit (NCRPO-RHSU), and the Philippine National Police Intelligence Group, where he played a vital role in intelligence operations, crime prevention, and law enforcement.
His steady ascent through the ranks is a testament to his leadership and commitment to the organization’s core mission.
As deputy regional director for administration of PRO3, Decena has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the region’s police force, focusing on administrative efficiency, resource management, and strategic planning.
With his promotion, Decena remains steadfast in his commitment to upholding the highest standards of service, integrity, and professionalism—continuing to inspire his fellow officers and the community he serves.
