MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Joint operatives on Friday seized some 994 grams of imported shabu worth P6,759,200 at the Port of Clark in Pampanga.
According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Clark, the parcel was misdeclared as “spare parts” from East Africa.
The contraband arrived at the Port of Clark on March 26.

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark discovered the shabu during a routine profiling shipment and x-ray examinations.
A subsequent K-9 sweeping by PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) K-9 Unit yielded positive results for illegal drugs.
Four transparent plastic packages containing suspected shabu were confiscated and will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA Regional Office 3 laboratory.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the PDEA Clark International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group, BOC-Port of Clark, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Pampanga District Office, and the PNP Aviation Security Unit 3.
