In a report by the Himalayan Times, Santiago passed away while he and the members of the Mountaineering Association of Krishnanagar- Snowy Everest Expedition 2025 prepared for the summit push on Wednesday night.
Santiago was part of the expedition.
“He died at the place where he was resting… We are consulting to bring his body back to the base camp,” Bodha Raj Bhandari of Snowy Horizon Treks and Expedition, which organized the climb, said.
