POLICE on Sunday said that a Korean national died from electrocution inside his home in Mexico, Pampanga on Saturday.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the fatality as Bang Chang, a 67-year-old Korean national of Bgy. Tangle, Mexico, Pampanga.
An investigation showed that the foreigner’s Filipina live-in partner knocked on the door of their house but there was no response prompting her to use her key to enter.
Once inside the house, she found the victim lifeless on the floor, with an electrical wiring attached to his body.
The Filipina immediately unplugged the wire and asked help from neighbors, who called the police.
Responding lawmen noted there was no sign of forced entry in the house.
Probers added that all the personal belongings of the victim were intact.
