AN elderly businesswoman on Saturday was killed inside her house’ compound in Bgy. Sabang, Baliwag City, Bulacan.
Slain was Yolanda Caballero, owner of Yuni Trading and a resident of Mabini St., Bgy. Sabang, Baliwag City, said a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo by the Bulacan police.
An investigation showed a man wearing faded pants, blue hoodie jacket, and white bull cap arrived at the compound on a motorcycle posing as a customer.
While roaming the compound, the suspect saw the victim sitting on a bench. He then pulled out a gun and shot the businesswoman twice at close range.
The victim died on the spot.
The suspect fled towards A. Mabini St., Tibag-Poblacion, Baliwag City after the killing.
The Baliwag police issued a flash alarm to the Bulacan Tactical Operations Center (TOC) for dragnet operations while reviewing the CCTV footage in the compound to identify the gunman.
