PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. declared June 24 a special non-working day in the city of Manila.
The declaration was made through Proclamation No. 925 signed on Wednesday by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on behalf of the President.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Manila be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” the proclamation read.
Manila is celebrating its 454th founding anniversary on June 24.
