TWO drug suspects involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in the province of Bataan on Saturday were arrested by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office following the confiscation of some P340,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Townsite in Limay town.
Nabbed were alias “Jojo,” 47; and alias “Jess,” 48, both residents of Mariveles, Bataan, the PDEA said.
Recovered from the suspects were around 50 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu worth P340,000 and the buy-bust money.
The sting was conducted by the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, Bataan Police Provincial Office Drug Enforcement Unit and the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Balanga City Police Station.
The arrested suspects are now detained at the PDEA jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga facing a non-bailable offense for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
