A FIRE on Wednesday struck an apartment building in Quezon City, leaving a tenant dead.
The name of the victim is being verified. He was trapped in the second floor of the apartment.
An investigation showed the fire broke out in a two-storey apartment building on Zambales St., Bgy. San Martin de Porres in Quezon City around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
The blaze immediately engulfed the upper floor of the rental home, prompting the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to raise the first alarm.
Responding firefighters were able to contain the blaze after 30 minutes.
An investigation is ongoing on what caused the fire and the damage cost.
