A 32-YEAR-OLD seafarer on Sunday drowned at a beach resort in Morong, Bataan.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. by the Bataan police identified the victim as “Golpo,” resident of Payatas, Quezon City.
The victim and his live-in partner went swimming at a beach resort in Sitio Fuerte, Bgy. Poblacion, Morong.
However, the strong water current swept them away to the deep portion of the sea.
The victim’s live-in partner immediately sought help from a lifeguard to find the victim.
When the victim was rescued, he was rushed to the Morong Regional Health Unit but was declared dead on arrival.
